West MI Indivisible is hosting NoKings 3.0
Protest and Rally in Grandville!
We will gather from 10-12 noon on the corner of Wilson and Rivertown Pkwy (park either in the RX Optical lot or Rivertown Mall lot) and line both sides of Wilson!
Bring your own sign or make your own (which you can do at our sign-making event on Tuesday, March 17, 6:00-7:30 following our monthly meeting), wear your favorite protest shirt or button, and join other like-minded people to make your voices and opinions heard. Register here
Our regular in-person monthly meeting will be held on
Tuesday, March 17, 4:30-6:00 pm. at the Grandville Library. We will be talking about our preparations for our No Kings rally. We will also have updates about our current goals (immigrant rights, elections, actions) and progress being made. And as always there is time for sharing, networking and connecting with others. Immediately following our monthly meeting, we are holding a sign-making event to get ready for NoKings 3.0! We will have materials available for you to use, but if you’d like to bring your own, that is fine. We will have some pre-printed materials for you to incorporate if you’d like to. Register here
SAFETY TRAINING SCHEDULED
Our safety training has been scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 9:30 a.m.-12 noon, Grandville Library, 4055 Maple SW. People will be trained in basic safety procedures, deescalation techniques, observation, positive interaction with participants, and core elements of a good safety program. We encourage you to attend and become trained to assist in keeping our rally participants safe. Register here
